An Introduction to one of the First Kava Luv Family Members: Cameron Doane

Hi

My name is Cameron Doane, a regular here at Kava Luv. I was originally introduced to botanical teas from a friend of mine here in florida. They used to hangout at this "really cool coffee and tea shop" all the time and they just kept asking me to hangout. So eventually I joined them and it was super fun. It was a SWFL spot so that was a nice surprise. That really helped introduce me to the botanical teas. Kava I heard about a long time ago. I went to school in Utah and the school I attended had a lot of Samoan staff. They were all football players at BYU and they would talk about Kava all the time. I actually was friends with the people who opened it originally, and this made Kava Luv my spot . I hangout at Kava Luv a lot because I live close by. I used to drive a lot to just hangout at a Kava bar so it was fantastic they opened one right by my house. The environment is super friendly. The drinks are always consistent and all the people have honestly become friends there.

Speaking of drinks, my favorite is a drink called the "Basic Bitch." It's honestly one of my favorite drinks I've had. I have had a few different drinks and I always go back to it. I like red and gold botanical teas. Those are my favorites personally, but I also love Kava because I have trouble sleeping at night. I have had neck surgery, in which they placed an artificial disk in my neck, and I have also had lower back surgery. The red helps a lot with back pain. I often come in the afternoon to do work on the computer. But I also like to come in the evening to hangout and talk to people. This works really well for me, because if I am drinking Kava and Botanical Teas I can work at a computer with much less back pain and by the end of the night I don’t struggle as much to sleep. Kava Luv and their products have become a phenomenal addition to my schedule.

My favorite event is a night called Wellness Wednesday. It's a night where they have a lot of different local vendors come in to promote their business. I personally love the wealth of knowledge and the sheer amount of small businesses that I have been exposed to. I may not want to buy everything but I have had great experiences with the businesses that I choose to partake in. They have a wonderful stand where they sell crepes and a woman who does IV infusions. The IV infusions really help energize me for the week and keep me on top of my vitamin intake. The crepes however are just a great treat mid-week and it just adds another positive to my week. I love to meet the business owners and just talk to new people.

I think that there are a great number of options in SWFL for Kava Bars and we are so lucky for that, but if you have not tried Kava Luv I would highly recommend it. The community is fantastic and they are super welcoming. I've personally had some incredible conversations and met some amazing people. Kava Luv has been a great addition to my life, and I've made lifelong friends there. I hope to see you and many more new people join our family. Keep the Luv alive!
