Kendall Little: Finding Community and Relaxation at Kava Luv
Kendall's journey with kava and botanical teas began during her college days in Boca Raton. As an under-21 student who wasn't keen on alcohol, her best friend Gillian introduced her to the world of kava and botanical teas. The experience was phenomenal, and she soon found herself frequenting a local kava bar, where the love affair with these beverages took root.
After graduating from Florida Atlantic University in December 2022, Kendall found herself craving the comforting ambiance of her college-town kava bar. She embarked on a quest to discover a similar haven in Naples, not knowing if such a place existed. She tried a few bars but didn't find the right fit until she walked into Kava Luv, a place that would soon become her second home.
Kava Luv's warm and welcoming environment immediately struck Kendall. It was a stark contrast to the other bars she had visited, and she marveled at the friendships blossoming within. She and her partner, Danny, soon made their own friends and embraced the sense of community that defines Kava Luv.
Kendall's go-to drink at Kava Luv is the Pomegranate Breeze, a delightful concoction that she savors during her visits. While kava is popular at Kava Luv, Kendall leans more towards botanical teas. She has always preferred them over kava and finds them to be the perfect way to relax and unwind. Botanical teas help her sleep better and deeper, leaving her feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
For Kendall, Kava Luv is extremely versatile. She works on her laptop, plays card games with friends, engages in conversations, and her stress can melt away in the calming atmosphere. She also eagerly anticipates Trivia Night, hosted by Kam, one of our lovely Kavatenders. After months of trials and tribulations, she finally secured a spot on the leaderboard in October.
Kendall and Danny took part in Fast Friends events at Kava Luv, opening the door to friendships with regulars and employees like Tommy, Laurelynn,, James, Matt, and many more. A chance encounter with Leah and Megan at the bar resulted in an inseparable bond, illustrating the power of community and shared interests.
Beyond her love for Kava Luv, Kendall is a dedicated reporter at the Naples Daily News. Her career has seen her cover a wide range of topics, from trending news and local government to education and LGBT issues. She has even found opportunities to feature Kava Luv in her articles, highlighting the positive impact of this unique community.
Kendall's passions extend beyond journalism, as she's an avid concert-goer. She's currently planning an epic adventure to see her favorite band, Waterparks, perform ten times across the country in the upcoming spring. Her enthusiasm for music mirrors her enthusiasm for life and the connections she's made at Kava Luv and became a reality through the friends she made at Kava Luv. In Kendall Little, Kava Luv has found not only a loyal patron but a symbol of the vibrant community it has created.
